As a business and society minor, you will take classes in sociology, economics, and business. These courses will give you a deeper understanding of how societies and their institutions, organizations, and groups work together. You will develop a deeper understanding of the relationships between individuals and businesses, and study diverse social issues and social structures as well as the dynamics of power and inequality on local, national, and global levels.
Declaring a minor allows you to explore other areas of interest and make interdisciplinary connections, and minors complement your major. By declaring a minor, you can set yourself apart as a candidate for job opportunities including business, public policy, law, education, public service, and marketing.
