This minor offers a practical introduction to the business side of music, focusing on the knowledge and skills needed for success in today’s music industry. Students will gain a solid foundation in key areas such as music marketing and management, preparing them for a wide range of careers in the modern music business.
Declaring a minor allows you to explore other areas of interest and make interdisciplinary connections. A minor in music allows you to set yourself apart as a candidate for job opportunities in a variety of professions in the media, arts and culture, and education industries or any number of related professions, such as a lyricist or music supervisor.
