As the 费尔斯坦电影研究生院 gets ready to celebrate its 10th anniversary this fall, 布鲁克林学院 announced that Professor 宝拉·j·马苏德, former head of our cinema studies program, 被任命为视觉、媒体和表演艺术学院院长 (SVMPA).

With a permanent dean now in place at SVMPA, the college is pleased to announce a transition in the administrative structure of the 费尔斯坦电影研究生院. The school’s chair, 查尔斯Haine, a longtime faculty member with extensive experience leading the program, will assume the responsibilities of the executive director under the guidance of the dean after the departure of Richard N. Gladstein earlier this month.

As a director, Haine helmed the narrative feature 天使的鲈鱼 and recently completed production on the documentary 多项选择, which explores an innovative high school education model in Winchester, Virginia. The film, produced in collaboration with executive producer Ted Dintersmith (最有可能成功), is set to premiere at a major film festival this fall, with a nationwide screening series to follow.
